Braugher had plans to film the Shondaland-produced Netflix series Residence in January 2024, following a hiatus due to the Writers Guild Association and SAG-AFTRA strikes. The series had completed shooting four episodes of its eight-episode order before temporarily halting production, as reported by Deadline.
