1. Walker Scobell as Perseus “Percy” Jackson




Walker Scobell takes on the role of Percy Jackson, a demigod and the son of Poseidon. In the series, Percy grapples with the challenges of his newfound powers while being accused of stealing Zeus’ lightning bolt.


Born into a military family, Scobell spent his early years moving across America, residing in California, Colorado, and Pennsylvania. Despite being relatively new to Hollywood, with only two prior acting credits in "Secret Headquarters" (2022) and "The Adam Project" (2022), Scobell landed the significant role of Percy Jackson.


Upon the announcement of his casting in April 2022, Scobell shared with PEOPLE that he felt a mix of excitement and nervousness about assuming the iconic role. Acknowledging the passionate fanbase of the books, he stated, "I was really excited, but I was a little bit nervous too. I didn't want to let anybody down, you know? It's a massive fanbase."


In a 2023 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Rick Riordan praised Walker Scobell's portrayal of Percy Jackson. The author expressed his satisfaction, saying, "Walker's Percy is just totally spot-on. Walker has that sense of alchemy. 2. Leah Jeffries as Annabeth Chase




Leah Jeffries takes on the role of Annabeth Chase, the daughter of Athena, in the series.


Originally hailing from Detroit, Jeffries embarked on her acting journey at the age of 5 in 2015, making her debut in "Empire" as Lola Lyon. In 2022, she featured in two films, "Something from Tiffany’s" and the thriller "Beast," sharing the screen with Idris Elba.

3. Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood


Aryan Simhadri assumes the role of Grover Underwood, a satyr and one of Percy's closest friends in the series.


Prior to joining the cast of Percy Jackson, Simhadri was already making appearances in various Disney movies and TV shows. In a 2023 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Simhadri revealed his deep connection with the Percy Jackson books from his childhood, stating, "It was the second book series I ever read, I think, and it left a huge impression on me. Like, not just, 'Oh, those books are cool,' but they helped me. I grew up with them, as I'm sure a lot of people did."


In a 2022 interview, Simhadri shared that playing a satyr required him to master a unique skill: "I learned how to walk like a goat. I do that pretty much every day on set, in conjunction with the [visual] effects that I wear. And it’s gotten to the point where just out in public I’ll be walking on my toes like a goat, and I have to consciously put my heel down on the ground."

5. Glynn Turman as Chiron


Glynn Turman takes on the role of Chiron, a centaur who conceals his true identity by posing as a teacher at Percy’s school.


Hailing from New York City, Turman has been a prominent figure in the entertainment industry for over six decades. Making his Broadway debut at the age of 12 in "A Raisin in the Sun," he has since left an indelible mark in major films and TV series.


His extensive credits include standout performances in hit movies such as "Gremlins" (1984) and "Burlesque" (2010), along with notable roles in series like "A Different World," "The Wire," and "How to Get Away with Murder." In 2023, Turman showcased his talent in projects such as "Rustin" and "80 for Brady," among others.


Glynn Turman has been married three times in his personal life. His current wife, Jo-Ann Allen, whom he married in 1992, follows his previous marriage to the legendary Aretha Franklin.


Turman and Franklin were a couple from 1978 to 1984. Although they did not have children together, both brought children from their respective previous marriages — Turman had three children from his prior marriage to Ula Walker, while Franklin had four sons. A Boston native with a foundation in comedy, Mantzoukas delved into show business after studying improv at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), where he was taught by Amy Poehler.


In a discussion with fellow UCB alumnus Nick Offerman for Interview Magazine, Mantzoukas shared how his improv training became a valuable asset in Hollywood. He explained, "Once [Adam] McKay and [Will] Ferrell were making those movies that had a lot of improvisation ... suddenly there was a demand for people who could improvise. And there was this whole class of people who had already been trained for this skill set."

His wrestling career began in 1998 with WWE, where he became a prominent figure. In October 2023, Copeland made a transition to the rival wrestling organization AEW, leaving a lasting impact on WWE. 10. Lance Reddick as Zeus


Lance Reddick takes on the role of Zeus, the god of sky and thunder, who, in the show, believes Percy has stolen his lightning bolt.

Tragically, the actor passed away in March 2023 at the age of 60, just a week before the release of John Wick: Chapter 4. "Percy Jackson" will stand as Reddick’s final television role, although he has several upcoming film appearances, completed prior to his passing, including reprising his role as Charon in the John Wick spinoff "Ballerina."



11. Toby Stephens as Poseidon


Toby Stephens takes on the role of Poseidon, the god of the sea and Percy’s biological father in the series.

Lin-Manuel Miranda takes on the role of Hermes, the messenger of the gods and Luke’s father in the series.
