Kelsea Ballerini hits the stage to perform “I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool”












At the Grand Ole Opry's 100th anniversary celebration, "Opry 100: A Live Celebration," Kelsea Ballerini honored country music legend Barbara Mandrell by performing her signature song, "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool." Mandrell herself introduced Ballerini, marking a poignant moment in the event.


The performance was part of a star-studded lineup paying tribute to country music icons, with Ballerini's rendition standing out as a heartfelt homage to Mandrell's enduring influence.

The event, hosted by Blake Shelton, featured performances from numerous acclaimed artists, including Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, and Reba McEntire, each honoring the rich history of the Grand Ole Opry and its artists.
